Trout Tournament Results
February 10, 2007

The February Jocassee Trout Tournament started off with strong winds and rough water. The winds died down and water leveled off, but the fishing remained tough. Fifty-four anglers produced three Trout. Pat Patrick took top honors with a 6.38 pound Brown. Ed Reeves took second with 3.38 pounds and Monty McGuffin took third with 1.25 pounds. Pat is now the current leader of the Big Fish pot which is currently valued at $1,611. The Big Fish Pot will be paid at the end of the last tournament in April and we expect the cash prize to be around $3,000 or more. The current leader of the Jimmie Orr Championship is Bryan Lee with 13.75 points.
