Trout Tournament Results
December 15, 2007

The December Jocassee Trout Tournament had 48 anglers plus three kids. A father son team took honors for the adult and youth tournaments. Shannon Burnett caught a 6.2 pound Brown to win first place and $429. His son, Ryan (10), caught a 2.1 pound Brown to win the youth event.  Shannon and Ryan have fished in several tournaments together over the past few years, but this is the first time either one of them have placed in an event. As a result, Shannon now leads in the Jimmie Orr Championship and Big Fish and his son Ryan has a strong lead in the Youth Championship.

Ryan caught a 2.1 lb Brown and leads in the youth championship.
