Waterfall Tours on Lake Jocassee

The sights at Lake Jocassee are legendary. Lake Jocassee is the area's premier lake. Its sights, wildlife and clarity are second to none. Sighseeing is one of the most popular aspects of Lake Jocassee, with its many spectacular waterfalls and the best Fall foliage to be found in the Southeast. Wildlife sightings include Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Deer, Black Bear, Wildcats and others. Lake Jocassee also holds state records for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Small Mouth Bass. Known for its clarity, Lake Jocassee is the area's premier freshwater scuba diving location.

Guided Lake Waterfall Tours:
     

4 hours - $300 per boat (up to 10 people); full catering available upon request.  For larger groups, please call the store for more info on charters and catering.

Special event lake and sunset tours available at $75/couple please call for schedule.

Hiking:
      The Foothills Trail has 3 access points on Lake Jocassee that are only accessible by boat.  JOC can drop off and/or pick you up.  We also provide car shuttle services and will soon be offering hiking tour guides for 4 hour and 8 hour hikes.

Shuttle Services

Let Jocassee Outdoor Center take you to the best hiking spots around. We will arrange a boat drop and pick-up at 3 Foothills trail points; Horsepasture, Cane Break or Laurel Fork. Jocassee Outdoor Center will also provide vehicle shuttle services to Whitewater Falls, Table Rock State Park, Rocky Bottoms or Oconee State Park.


Hiking Shuttles:
     One-way boat shuttles $25/per person (4 person min.)
     Roundtrip boat shuttles $45/per person (4 person min.)

 


 

Kayak Shuttles:
      Kayak shuttles across the lake (one-way) - $100 (4 kayaks max.)

 


  

Seasonal Berry Picking

The Happy Berry Inc. is located on the eastern shore of Lake Keowee in Pickens County, South Carolina. It is a pick-your-own small fruit farm with blackberries, blueberries, figs and raspberries available in-season. The season is from June 1 to Early September in most years. Pre-picked berries are available on farm.

Scuba

In parternship with The Scuba Shop in Spartanburg, JOC offers basic scuba gear for purchase or rent. Our scuba shop is open from May - September.

  • Equipment rentals: air tanks, regulators, weight belts, wet suits
  • Air tank refills - $10.00
